Rainy June

I don't know about you but I love a good steady downpour with thunderstorms. It inspires me and lets me focus on my writing. Why? Because when the sun's out, I'd rather be swimming either in the ocean or in the pool. But because it already feels like summer here in Colorado, my brain is on cool blue waters, how I want to be a mermaid, the Colorado Renaissance Festival and when to go to Water World.

This month, I published another non-fiction book called "The Inspired Writer" which is a collection of 10 Affirmations for Writers, Inspirational Quotes, 30 Writing Prompts using Talecraft by Komikasi and a list of Tools and Resources that I use. If you want to get this book (or any of my books) for free, sign up for my Advance Reader Club here. And if you want to get monthly free writing prompts in your inbox, download my free Fiction Planner here.

On the yarn side of things, Colorado's annual Yarn Along The Rockies yarn crawl is coming up in 2 months: August 20 - 28, 2016. As of writing, they don't have a list of participating stores yet but I'm pretty sure, they will be releasing the list as we get closer to the crawl dates. In the meantime, if you haven't participated in a yarn crawl, visit their website and carefully read the rules. You don't want to miss an opportunity to have fun, meet fellow yarn and fiber enthusiasts and maybe win some prizes.
